These vintage grain sacks we use are between 50 and 100 years old and the more you wash them the softer and more loveable they get!
Each sack has a series of stripes in a variety of colours which was used as a coding system as to which sacks belonged to which farmer, how cool is that?!

This bag has a series of Bordeaux coloured stripes which are fantastically crisp and has been lined with a fresh gingham patterned cotton. On the inside there is a sturdy lobster keyring to keep your keys safe and a removable privacy purse in a lovely stripy canvas cotton fabric.
