This vintage European grain sack is absolutely stunningly soft and it’s the first time we’ve found this waffled textured weave so we’re absolutely in LOVE!!
We have lined it with a pretty wine and white gingham cotton, added a removable inside purse and our lovely rolled leather handles which you are welcome to change for any on our 'Handles' page, just leave us a note at checkout.

The vintage sack that has been used to make your beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill, many families stripes and monograms were stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
