This vintage European grain sack is absolutely stunningly soft and it’s the first time we’ve found this waffled textured weave so we’re over the full moon and in LOVE!
We have lined this beauty with a pretty flowery cotton fabric, paired it with a removable inside purse, added a useful pocket and our lovely rolled brown leather handles.
The vintage sack that has been used to make your beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These sacks were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill, many families stripes and monograms were stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
