One of Mon Cabas' favourite fabrics is vintage french 'Toile A Matelas' ( a type of fabric they used to use to cover mattresses with in France)so when we found the same pattern but modern and 'Made In Spain' we jumped with surprise and happiness. Yes it is a modern cotton unlike most of the vintage french ones we use but it is fresh and we LOVE it! 

 It’s crisp white stripes, the super oversized size and the simple spanish gingham lining make for a gorgeous piece and you are also welcome to change nickel 'Rock Chick' Chain for a long or short leather strap, just head over to the 'Handles' page and add a note at checkout, how much fun is that ?!
