This absolutely stunningly soft antique french hemp grain sack sporting super vibrant grass green stripes is in amazing condition considering it could be between 60 and 100 years old! I certainly won't be looking THIS good at that age!

We have lined it with a lovely soft neutral stripe cotton, a camouflage pocket, a removable chintz privacy purse and paired it with our dark brown rolled leather handles. Inside you have a key fob and outside a lovely suede bag plait.

The vintage sack that has been used to make your beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill, many families stripes and monograms were stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
