Oh my this is an absolutely stunning antique french hemp grain sack and the stripes are so vibrant you would never know it’s probably over 80 year old !!

We have lined this beautiful bag with a lovely bottle green gingham cotton fabric and paired it with our short flat natural leather handles. Inside you have a key fob for your keys, a practically sized pocket and a detachable flowery cotton privacy purse for your special little things! Here at Mon Cabas we believe it is simply PERFECT!

The vintage sack that has been used to make your beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill, many families stripes and monograms were stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
