Green And Bleu Striped One Day In Provence Bag
Oh no! This one has sold. Don't wait if you've got your eye on anything because when they're gone they're gone.
This is one of our lovely Mon Cabas tribe members preferred colour combo, and you can see why ..... the stripes are fresh and look like they could have been woven in only recently but in fact they could be anything between 60 and 100 years old!!! That's crazy cool!
We have lined this lovely bag with a green and white gingham cotton, paired it with a removable inside purse and our brown rolled leather handles. You are welcome to change these handles for any on our 'Handles' page, just leave us a note at checkout.
We bet you will never want to carry another bag again!
The vintage sack that has been used to make this beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill and in order to identify their own sacks many families stripes and monograms were woven, stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
We hope you enjoy carrying your own little piece of history !!!
Dimensions: H 64 cms (incl. handles) x W 48 cms.
