This vintage European grain sack is absolutely stunning and the bright pink stripe combination makes for a very rare find!
We have lined it with a beautiful crisp ‘Toile De Jouy’ patterned cotton, paired it with a removable full size leather Pochette with a 1 metre length chain so you can take it out - clip on your chain and it becomes a really useful cross body bag ! There is also a large pocket and we added our lovely dark brown rolled leather handles which you are welcome to change for any on our handles page, just leave us a message at checkout.

The vintage sack that has been used to make your beautiful bag is made out of hemp. These were instrumental in getting farmers sugar, flour and grain to the mill, many families stripes and monograms were stitched or stencilled onto the fabric ensuring the sacks were returned to their rightful owner.
