One of Mon Cabas favourite fabrics is a vintage french 'Toile A Matelas' ( a type of fabric they used to use to cover mattresses in France) so when we found the modern version of the same pattern but 'Made In Spain' we jumped with surprise and happiness. Yes it is a modern cotton unlike most of the vintage french ones we use but it's fresh and we LOVE it! 

 The clean crisp white stripes, the super oversized size and the simple spanish gingham lining make for a gorgeous bag and you are also welcome to change the long leather strap for a Rock Chick Chain just head over to the 'Handles' page and add a note at checkout, how cool is that ?!
